    Polymethyltriethoxysilane is an oligomer of methyltriethoxysilane with an average degree of polymerization of 2-3. It has a special fragrance and is a combustible liquid. In the presence of acid or alkali, it is easy to hydrolyze and condensate in the presence of water. The product of hydrolysis condensation is a macromolecule compound. Finally, the film is formed by cross-linking. Polymethyltriethoxysilane has hydrophobicity and high heat resistance.
